Match report Following Datchet's forfeiture of our first league game of season we hosted Crowthorne & Crown Wood 3s at Yattendon.
Toss lost and opposition opted to bowl.
A strong top order promised runs and they delivered, with Joe Greenidge (48), Satish Banda (36) and Bern Hardy (32) pushing us past 100 at drinks.
Second half of innings saw plenty of wickets fall, but an excellent partnership of 45 between Che Greenidge (26) and George Wellsteed 18*) saw us post 180 / 8.
In reply C&CW started slowly and some excellent catching saw us taking regular wickets.
George with four wickets led the way, other wickets for Nick, Adhrit, Steve and Harsh.
An excellent game played in ver good spirit by both teams.
