Match report Both the first game of the season and the Potterers first ever indoor game result in a 14 run win against our friends from Holyport.

The game was held indoors at Windsor Leisure Centre where there was a larger area than the Potterers are used to playing on.

Holyport batted first and scored 173 for 6 wickets, a challenging net total of 143 to chase - all the Potterers bowlers doing well with 2 wicket skipper Colin Ainger leading the way and the whole team fielding well to restrict the runs.

In reply Potterers opening pair, Mark Allen and Barry Hall, got off to a great start of net 48 (58 for 2 wickets) in the first 4 overs. Nigel and Gary added another 20 before Colin and Sharon added 48 for the 3rd pair to leave last pair Greg and John to score 27 to pass Holyport's score win the game.

An excellent game, played in good spirits and a lovely pint at the Windsor and Eton Brewery to round off the event. Well done all.
