Match report Potterers - Strollers vs Dawdlers - THE RESULT!

The much anticipated clash of the Potterers ended in a win for the Strollers at Meadway Sports Centre today.

Batting first the Dawdlers totalled 156 for 8 wickets for a net score of 116 for the Strollers to chase. Good bowling and fielding somewhat limited the Dawdlers score whose top scorers were John P (32 net 27) and Colin (30 net 25) leading the way but good contributions from all.

In reply Gary R and Mark A got the Strollers off to a flyer with 62 in the first 4 overs. The middle 2 pairs each steadily added 40 runs per pair before the last pair Bob (20 net 15) and youth policy debutant Barry (30) took the team to 210 for 4 wickets = net 190 and a (unexpectedly large) win !

A great game enjoyed by all.
