Match report On a hot day with slightly delayed start (due to congestion on the M4 for our visitors) the Potterers ran out winners by 32 runs over the Holyport Tailenders.

Potterers batted first and totalled 242 for 9 (net score 197) in a steady batting display led by 3 batters net scoring 30 or more (Richard Will 30, Richard Amos 32 and Mark Allen 34).

In reply the Tailenders were limited to 200 for 7 (net score 165) by good bowling with wickets shared across the bowlers - best bowling Trudy Sweeney 1 for 12, Richard Amos 1 for 14, and Colin Ainger & Mark Allen 1 for 16 a piece. Our catching could improve!

Player of the match Richard Amos all round display of 32 runs and 1 wicket for 14 runs.

A hot day was relieved by retiring to the bar for refreshments and fantastic tea - many thanks as usual to PSSC and all those who contributed to the tea.
