Match report Potterers hosted the inaugural Berkshire Walking Cricket Cup in what turned out to be an excellent tournament enjoyed by all. After all the hot weather over recent months (including this event previously being cancelled due to extreme heat) a welcome cool and clear day was much appreciated by all.

The 4 clubs currently playing Walking Cricket in the County all attended. Potterers results.....

Falkland 44 for 5 off 8 overs = Net 19. Potterers 142 for 3 off 8 overs = Net 127. Potterers won by 108 runs.

Holyport 110 for 4 off 8 overs = Net 90. Potterers 124 for 4 off 8 overs = Net 104. Potterers won by 14 runs.

Potterers 128 for 3 off 8 overs = Net 113. Mortimer West End 129 for 6 off 8 overs = Net 99. Potterers won by 14 runs.

A well run and enjoyable event - special thanks to Nick and Steve - umpires for the day, Carole and Jill scorers, Chris Manning and Gerry for assistance, all the Potterers who helped set up and spectated. Special thank you to Karen for all the organising of the day that went so well. A credit to the club.
