Match report So another season draws to a close, not the finish we wanted, but so many positives from the summer nevertheless.
Won the toss and bowled, but we just couldn’t get into them. A couple of decent partnerships and they’d posted 179 - first senior league wickets for Pranav.
Unusually the batting failed, six down for 35 after 16 overs - Richard (37) and Nick (43) ensure a degree of respectability, but PSR were good for their 43 run win.
The season has been full of so many highlights, bringing through more and more juniors into competitive senior cricket has been the standout, but there’s been a fabulous team ethos and the games has always played in the right spirit. Yattendon has been a good home, looking forward to playing there again next season and with a bit of work over the winter hopefully some consistent bounce!
16 games played, won 11 - Top Batter Nick (what??!! 197), Top Bowler George (16), Top Fielder Dogger (16).
