Match report Baking hot afternoon at the Sulhampstead Ovals, decent looking track and a quick outfield - lost toss and S&U opted to bat.
A disciplined bowling performance (second week in a row where we conceded 80% less extras than the oppo), some questionable fielding at times, nevertheless a great effort to restrict first innings to 185.
Turner with 4/21 (including a first hat trick), Welly 2/16 (superb line and length) and great to have Seve back 2/32

In reply Adam and Thrived set about our reply in determined fashion against some excellent S&U bowling - once the two opening bowlers were off, so too the shackles came off and they accelerated the score to 126/0 at drinks.
From there it was really only a matter of when we would reach the target which we did so four wickets down.
Thrived 68, Adam 42, Rowan in his first innings for club 16 took us close and Richard (8*) and Harsh (9*) saw us home.
A great game played in excellent spirit.
