Match report A much improved performance from the 3s saw them bounce back from last week’s defeat with a 7 wicket win at Windsor.
Having won toss Windsor were asked to bat and a tight opening spell from George and Nick saw runs hard to come by, however, as bowlers rotated runs accumulated and a score in excess of 220 looked on the cards. The introduction of Ben (4/32)and Steve (1/17) put us back in control with Windsor posting 189. Fielding was much improved, all catches taken (superb catch by Jack making his Purley debut was key) and a run out for Lee.
Our reply saw Alan dismissed early, but 125 run partnership between Ben (83*) and Alex (60) put us well in control. It was left to Abdul (23*) to club a six over square for a 7 wicket win.
