Match report After some decidedly dodgy weather the Potterers travelled to Chalfont St Peter Cricket Club to take on Chalfont Walkers, arriving just in time for a rain shower.

However after coffee and croissants the sun came out and the match took place in lovely weather.

Potterers batted first to amass 228 for 3 off 20 overs for a net score of 213 - best batting - debutant Pete Malandrone led the way with a hard hit 47. Mark Allen scored 43, Steve Costello 30 and skipper Colin Ainger 21on a bouncy non turf pitch (or bouncy ball).

In reply Chalfont were restricted to 135 for 3 - net score 120 by an excellent team effort of the Potterers bowling and fielding very well (except Pete who dropped a sitter on the boundary!).

So a well deserved 88 run victory.
