The committee invites you to nominate members of the club who you feel deserve to be recognised for their outstanding efforts over the past year. 

The club has two awards for this purpose with specific criteria for who is eligible, which we ask you to read carefully before you submit your nomination. 

The awards are:

Berti Jayasuria Sportsperson of the Year 

An active playing member of the club who has demonstrated the highest levels of sportpersonship on and off the field during the season in their support of the Purley on Thames Cricket Club community. 

Pete Rackley Clubperson of the Year 

A club member who has gone above and beyond in their support for Purley on Thames Cricket Club during the season, or cumulatively over a number of seasons. This could include, but is not limited to, volunteering in a coaching, administrative, officiating or fundraising capacity. 

To submit your nomination for each award, please complete the club award nomination form. The deadline to submit nominations is midnight on Tuesday 25 August 2026.

The winners will be presented with their awards at the Senior Presentation Evening on Saturday 12 September.

Each member of the club can nominate in each category - multiple form submissions from a member will not be considered. Parents/guardians can nominate on behalf of a junior member, but will not be entitled to their own vote as well (unless they are also a member of the club).
